VILLA STECCHINI
Villa Stecchini is an elegant private mansion built in the early 17th century by the noble family of "Gli Stecchini," one of the oldest in Bassano Del Grappa, which still owns it today.
Situated in an elevated position, it is surrounded by a 16,000-square-meter park and a garden with a splendid fishpond overlooked by the barchessa, the dovecote and a consecrated aristocratic chapel.
In the noble halls all the furnishings are still present: paintings from the school of da Ponte, busts from the school of Canova and the unique portrait of Gemma Donati, Dante Alighieri's wife.
